We are so glad you are here. We are Ben and Andrea Oosterhof and we are East Gate Farms. We have been raising lamb in Leduc County since 2015. Our goal is to provide our customers with delicious, fresh lamb that reminds you of home.
Let me tell you a bit about us!
Ben has been farming since he could walk. His parents farmed and he always knew if was something he wanted to do. Sheep was a good fit for him as he branched out on his own. He loves working with animals and is always happy to talk farming with anyone who wants. In his other life he runs a computer business in Edmonton. We offer pickup of many of our farm products at that location.
I (Andrea) am a city girl turning farmer. It's a slow transformation; there is so much to learn. You can mostly find me in the garden when the weather is good.
Together we have 4 kids . They mostly run wild around the farm and if you come for a visit they would be happy to show you the ropes, climb hay bales with you, or share some delicious produce from "their garden".
