Our chickens are free range. They can run around. In the spring, summer, and fall that includes are large outdoor run. In the winter they do not want to go outside so we let them stay inside. :) We feed them a standard chicken feed that ensures they have a consistent and complete diet. They also get a large number of food scraps. We are a part of the loop program which works to divert food waste from grocery stores to farms instead of landfills. In the summer they are given grass clippings from our yard and weeds from our garden.

We are not certified organic.

Usually our egg yolks would be a dark yellow. However, they can vary in colour depending on the season. In the summer they are darker because of all the greens they are getting. In the winter they are usually paler.

Our pickup location is an office with office hours. Therefore city pickup is limited to those hours. We are not able to stay later. If you would like to pickup in the evening or on the weekend we can usually accomodate on the farm. However, we have lives beyond eggs and may not always be available.

No. We don't deliver. However, we offer pickup in Edmonton at a convenient central location for all of our products.

We only sell our lamb by half or whole lamb. We do not have the setup to do otherwise.

We occasionally invite visitors to the farm but we do not allow drop in visitors. Thank you for respecting our business and our home.
